yeah my post not too long ago was deleted as well .....
topic was ny times or post or something .....talking about global warming.....the whole thread dissappeared. are we not allowed to talk on this site?......i didnt use foul or offensive language........maybe my opinion was offensive?

perhaps ......
but maybe i may want to talk to other deadheads about various topics ....not only grateful dead music....should i not be able to? maybe i don't want to talk in the general forum to anyone. what if i want to talk in general to deadheads about things that interest us all....dead and otherwise. should i not be allowed ? i could fully understand if i'm rude or improper. but a respectful discussion? even if its a hot topic.
anyway...........i'm enjoying 1/6/78 and the playoff game w/close captioning. pitt just took the lead.
my giants do battle tomorrow.

darkstar1964: ...I was trusting that you would realize I was trying to make you smile by being my typical sarcastic self. ..."global warming" = "hot topic" ...I know, it was weak ....a very, very weak attempt at humor. ....hey, I agree with you, regardless of whatever side of the issue ....it was a thoughtful thread and didn't spiral down into the sewer (unless I missed something).
Thanks for reminding me about 01/08/78 -- haven't listened to that in a long time and it will carry me through the overnight hours. It looks like Jacksonville may be "for real"(?) Good Luck to your Giants tonorrow ... Tom C. did a lot of good work for Boston College so I hope your Giants do well on Sunday; maybe Manning got some self-confidence restored after the game against the Pats(?)
